We move our cows to fresh pasture daily which improves our soil health and reduces parasite exposure.

Calf sharing produces healthier calves and happier mamma cows. Cows have a strong maternal instinct, and we believe in supporting this. All of our calves are raised with their mammas for the first 6 months. We support the weaning process after that.

While being milked, our cows receive a small amount of dairy ration daily. We make our own dairy ration which is 100% organic, non-GMO, corn-free, and soy free. Additionally, they have access to a full mineral bar including kelp, salts, and a mineral conditioner.

Freckles, an A2/A2 Jersey/Guernsey cross, came to us as a “project cow” who had never really been handled. It took several weeks to gain her trust, but now she’s one of the best milkers we have!
